I was skeptical about this pillow because I had so many problems with my spine, both cervical spondylitis with spondylitis and lumbar osteochondrosis which are extremely painful . I've tried them all: C-shaped, round with balls, and even the ones sold in medical supply stores. None of them worked well. I take strong prescription painkillers, but not all the time because I don't want to become addicted. This cylindrical roller has a soft outer, removable/washable coating, but it's so hard it hurts. I need to keep tweaking it like the others I've tried. The cover is soft against the skin but collects hair, dust and dirt. I didn't care that it wasn't available in different colors. A small problem, but I absolutely hate dark blue. It should be burgundy, black, leopard, in general, any color. I just wish it fits. The delivery was great and super fast! Sellers, consider more colors and less durability. I think I'll send it back and do it myself. They have foam cylinders and tons of fabric for $5-$8 at fabric stores. It was too expensive for what it is and it doesn't relieve the pain, it makes it worse.
