This is a monster flash. Uses the same chassis as my flagship yn-685 ettl and hss. I use it as a receiver flash along with the RF-603II transceiver for my Canon DSLRs. It rarely fires and uses the battery wisely. Expect 400-450 flashes at 1/8 power. You're doing something wrong if you frequently need more than 1/8 the indoor power from that flash. If you are new to yn flash hardware, explore the yn-600 rt range instead.
