This thread is carefully waxed and quite strong. Although, given my inexperience with threading and sewing, I didn't expect the wax to be so sticky that I couldn't use it for my purposes; to tailor a cover for the steering wheel, it would be too uncomfortable to drive. I can agree with what many people have mentioned, that the spool is a bit smaller than expected (2.5" length, 2.5" line circumference on the spool). I would suggest that the seller simply add a comparison item to their photos so people aren't surprised. With this you get what they show you, a strong waxed nylon thread. They also have excellent customer service.
