Use other screws!
The picture cable itself was fine. The problem lay in the supplied hardware. The first screw we installed broke after only a few turns and then bent when we removed it with pliers. We tried again, this time drilling pilot holes. The screw went in fairly easily, but then the head of the screw fell off. We now have half the screw stuck in our wall. Very frustrating so we just sent it back. When purchasing this product, be sure to purchase your own equipment.
