I like that the charge lasts a long time - the instructions say up to 15 days, but I try to connect it once a week. The device also works when connected to a network. It's a lovely teardrop design - it was larger than I expected but I put it on the shelf and it fits perfectly. It comes with a hanging strap if it's easier to hang somewhere. The instructions say position 5 off the ground and within 50 feet of the dog's activity area, and the effect is better with no other obstacles. It has different settings, but I didn't have to turn it higher than the low setting. I've noticed that my younger dog barks less. The product says it is suitable for dogs over 6 months and under 8 years old so my older dog may not hear as well. I notice that when they bark it only happens once or twice, not a steady bark until a person walks by our house.
