Bench testing with voltage and current regulated power supplies. 11.99V DC input showed 11.7V input voltage on the display, beeps with flashing blue light, no AC output. Unfortunately, the specs do NOT list the minimum input requirements in amps, only the maximum output. only the maximum input power (in watts). Says 300w-880w. So at 12V 300W that's 25A. at 12V 800W 66A. I highly doubt this device can handle it. It appears that the specs listed are either for a different product or are a top rating. In any case, the listing clearly says 12V 600W, so that would be 50A. Since I wasn't running AC at 11.99V, I bumped the voltage up a bit to 13V to allow for some drop. Nothing. Looks like I'm stupid.
