We used 50ft LED strips to give our bedroom a nice vibe by placing them under the bed. Applying the strips was pretty easy thanks to the self-adhesive backing. Just peel off the top layer and stick on. What I didn't like is that you get 2 strips of 15ft that plug into the power supply separately. If you build a rectangle like we did, you need to place the transformer in the center of the ring. I would have liked it better if the stripes were connected. Remember that the transformer produces a high-pitched tone at maximum setting. It's not very loud, but it can bother sensitive people. I didn't use the iOS app because it only had 2.8 stars and I was comfortable with the remote control. In addition, if you cut it off, the excess will go to waste, since there is only one transformer for all this. I would advise you to measure before you buy and just get the exact length you need as you won't be able to use what you cut off.
