We need the brightest light we can get, order 60w 5000k daylight. Our globe lights block a lot of light. They were good enough when new compared to others. Within 90 days about 4 went out completely and the rest of the bulbs got dimmer not as bright. So after 5 months I replaced them. The brightness now corresponds approximately to that of a 25 W incandescent lamp. Of course, we've had the same problem with lightbulbs from Walmart and other discount brands since about 2019. The LED bulbs I bought before 2019 are still bright and at least 5 years old. Some of these are LED Sylvanias I bought from Dollar Tree! Won't order them again, will try another brand at a higher price and hope for the best. But yes, they are very valuable for occasional use, at around the same price as non-LED bulbs, and save on energy bills. And technically the remaining bulbs still work, I keep them for table lamps etc.
