Review on 🎉 “Adult Party Game for Non-Traditional Topics” by Jim Bethea

Off Topic is a great game for parties or just for family fun. With 2-8 players it works well in all situations. For those of you who remember Scattergories, this game is just like it, only BETTER! It's easy to learn and play, but also surprisingly challenging. All players are given boards and pens to write down their answers on. Don't worry about running out of papers/ballots or having enough pens for everyone! Each player then uses the same theme card and rolls the dice to get the letter they want all of their answers to begin with. Then it's up to you to come up with the most unique answers! Topics range from simple (vehicles) to complex (words that describe a woman's menstrual cycle) and occasionally also gives you a suggestion to fill in the blanks (similar to Maps Against Humanity). With a 2 minute timer, it's hard to fill in every answer completely! But it is good! My only criticism is that the game uses an hourglass hour timer and unless you look at it you don't always know when the time is up. A timer that makes a sound when it's done would be easier. However, I highly recommend this game!
