What can I say about a flashlight that costs less than $50 and can be operated at a depth of 150 m (492 ft) AND from a 1.5V AA battery too a 3.7V 14500 battery and not explode? to plan? This lamp is amazing! Very high quality aluminum construction, powerful LED lamp Cree XM-L2 630Lm. I think with one AA battery the output is around 150lm but the polished reflector, even with standard batteries, this light was able to illuminate the large chamber of the cave with almost no effort! I wish I had a 14500 battery to test with but out of the box it's a fantastic light. For what you get, for money, you get a lot. A small flashlight that could dive to almost 500 feet, a few years ago when I was diving, a flashlight that could dive to that depth was incredibly expensive, not that powerful, very large and bulky. This is the size of a small flashlight and comes with a rotating mount and wrist strap. Also, there are no switches, just twist the light head to complete the circuit to turn it on. That's all! In general, I was delighted with this light! This is now a standard part of my Caver gear!
