I have been with EVGA for a while but this will be my last purchase from the company. I bought an 850w G5 to replace my 650w G2. Installation was easy, cable quality was good (I'm not sure why they didn't include a 6-pin VGA cable with their power supplies, even though most of their cards have an 8-pin + 6-pin connector. Google "EVGA 2080 Super Fan Click" and you will find common GPU issues hardcoded to stop and start the fan at 55C. The ONLY way to deal with this is to keep the Precision X1 open and running with a custom curve all the time. Why not add the ability to save fan curves in the cards' built-in memory? Terrible decision. I gave this 2 stars as I feel most people ignore 1 star because they are too whiny. If you're looking for quiet and efficient power supplies, look elsewhere. I will order a Corsair PSU and return it when I install a new one. I hope you understand with your QC, EVGA. Because you were once a great company.
