So this jacket is of high quality. I want to say this first, but it looks more apt in the picture than it really is. The material is more neoprene and looks more like a motorcycle jacket than a bike jersey. You can wear these skis if you want, they are so thick. That being said, I wear this on a cold San Francisco morning and it's comfortable. If you are over 65, you start to sweat. Conversely, it does not let light rain through. Overall it feels like a solid piece of gear, is solidly built and definitely worth the money, but be aware this isn't the most compact jacket out there. Again, this would be similar to a wetsuit in terms of volume.
