I was very pleased with this product but after assembling it (quite an easy task considering I'm not a handyman) I realized I had misjudged the height of the product compared to my desk would have. Now please don't get me wrong, the chair serves its purpose well; It was comfortable and seemed solid, but my frustration started when I tried to take it apart. When I tried to take it apart to put it back in place, I wasn't able to remove the rod from the base of the chair. I assumed I was too weak and asked everyone I met in the office; including various burly men with big muscles and access to tools they thought could help. Having failed to get the pole off, I am now stuck with a partially disassembled rocking chair that I need to find a new home for. I understand it was mostly my fault for not measuring the height of the table, but I don't like spending that kind of money because it can't be disassembled. Make sure you choose the right height for your rocking chair before you buy one!
