I would advise you to search the internet for free FM frequencies/channels in your area as you will need to find one to get the best sound quality. I've been experimenting to see if higher frequency channels work better etc but haven't found anything conclusive other than that you really want an empty frequency. change stations. And it's no fun if you haven't planned ahead. Especially in a big city! In general. I'm very glad I bought this and it works great!
