While taking a picture last week, I dropped my wide-angle zoom lens and it broke. Since I couldn't buy a new one, I opted for a cheaper option. This lens is made of metal and has a solid construction. The focus ring is smooth and easy to adjust. The aperture ring does not snap and is also smooth and easy to use. The focus ring and aperture ring are far enough apart that you don't hit each other when adjusting the other. I haven't used a manual focus lens in over 30 years and have recently returned to photography. This lens is easy to use and I got clear and sharp images straight away. I find this lens to be unbeatable value for money. This is a great choice for amateur and intermediate amateur photography. I'm seriously considering buying a 12mm ultra wide angle lens.
