Review on Metra GMOS OnStar Interface Systems by Leonard Herrera

I was trying to connect my Pioneer aftermarket stereo to my 2006 Chevy Silverado with no interface (cheap). Switch on with the red-brown AC cable. It didn't work for me, I had tons of engine noise etc. So I got this interface and it worked. I don't have an Onstar so I skipped that part. Works for me with doorbell and alarm. The only thing I was hoping it would also work with my steering wheel volume control. But that part didn't work (it's probably my wiring). But I can move my hand 2ft to the side to turn up the volume lol. The main thing is that it works and for the price I hope it lasts a long time. If not, I'll be back.
