Review on 🔑 Stainless Steel Keychain Carabiner with Gate Guard - TEC Accessories Python Clip by Kendriece Figueroa

In mid 2014 I bought my first set of Python clamps directly from the TEC accessories website and was very happy with them. They were easily worthy of a 5 star rating. I use these clips in combination with a hanging clip to carry my keys (on the smart key), a small flashlight, and the Leatherman Squirt multi-tool. I recently lost one of the clips and couldn't be more disappointed with the replacement. The original Python clip design was smooth from day one with no sharp edges and had a great stonewash finish that really resisted scratches. They were also very strong and would never unintentionally let go of the item they were holding. But these new Python clips, wow, where do I start? Basically, they are opposites in almost everything! New clips come out of the box with rough edges, and the surface is shiny and easy to scratch and scrape. Also, the new clip unintentionally released one of my items within the first week of use, so they're clearly not that strong. In the attached image, the original design is 3 years old on the left and the new version (2 months) on the right. Judge for yourself. I can't recommend them more.
