There were good reviews for this product so I took a chance. One other consumer mentioned that it did not have the ear probe. I figured that person received a bad product and nothing more. I read through the details and it does not mention anywhere that there is no ear probe. I already have a forehead thermometer and it seems a little temperamental. Any time I go to the pediatrician they always use an ear probe so I figure there must be some logic to that. If you are buying this as a forehead thermometer it is probably great. I gave the low stars cause I think it is bad advertising on their part to have all the pictures with the ear probe and even the instructions in the box are for the ear probe.
