I used to buy an inexpensive "used" Sony 300 disc player off E-Bay. It worked pretty well for a few months, and then all sorts of problems started to appear and I couldn't even use it. I bought this unit brand new and enjoyed listening to my music again, plus it had an extra 100 disc capacity. What I don't like about this device, which differs from a 300 disc player, is its ability to easily classify music into 8 fields. This is a bit more difficult to accomplish and the manual isn't entirely clear on how to do it. A small problem that I have since overcome and now that everything is set up I can "shuffle all drives" in the category. The quality is just fantastic and in 2 months of ownership it hasn't had a single small issue. . It gets daily playtime and seems like a great device.
