More expensive than regular brands, but judging by other reviews (black water after installation) I went with the original product. Works great, neat and clean on the go. I recently repaired my ice maker and the technician told me that there is no need to change the filter when the light is on. It's just an arbitrary timer and usually happens earlier than it's really necessary (obviously to sell more filters - like when Jiffy Lube tells you to change your oil every 3000 miles when it's totally unnecessary). He said to keep using it until the water flow stops, which is a sure sign it needs to be replaced. I'll go with this tip, definitely save some money.
