Not as advertised - poor design
I buy tons of good stuff from Revain but this item is junk, not worth $5 let alone $100+. First of all, the mirror cannot "extend" by seven inches or even 1 millimeter because the short "lever" between the pivoting base hinge and the mirror's curved frame is a 1-inch solid piece attached with brass threads Base hinge is attached. . This brass thread is the only way to tilt the mirror up/down and it's bound to break after a few turns. The 1x glass looked fine, but the 5x glass was distorted off-center. The fastening material consists of two pressed-in plastic dowels with screws, but I didn't get that far. I would advise staying away from this topic.
