These 3000K replaced the bulbs that are over my garage doors and gas range hood vent. For the outdoor lighting, the regular halogen lasted about 2 years with light use. These lasted two years. They are good build quality and offer a nice uniform light dispersion.I like that they are slightly brighter than the 50w halogens they replaced and a bit "cooler" in color, but there is still a hint of warmth. These tend to color shift a little after they 'burn in" to the warmer side. They don't look blue at 3000K but they aren't as warm as the picture, which is fine for my use.My vent hood has a normal and dim setting for two 50W bulbs. On normal, the bulbs are extremely bright and light up everything uniformly. On dim, they flicker horribly. I don't blame the bulbs because the hood wasn't designed for LED's. I'll be getting normal bulbs for this application.
