Overall the Rubbermaid Brute series looks very good; solid construction and simple but beautiful design. The bucket is durable and functional. It supports the weight well without bending like other buckets. I like the plastic grip on the handle. The design is simple and not intrusive. The words "Rubbermaid Commercial Products" are printed on the side of each bucket - it's very lightweight and barely noticeable. I also bought 10qt. Both sizes have gradation lines; Each line represents an increase of 1 liter, which is approximately 1.05 quarts. The diameter is larger at the top and tapers below the top edge so it's not oriented top to bottom. the widest part is 9-1/8 inches. Bottom diameter = 9-3/8" 10 qt. Height: Slightly <10-1/4 in. under top wide portion 8-3/8" Bottom diameter = 8-1/4"
