bought for the granddaughters' first trip to the zoo. Usually the granddaughter doesn't keep anything on her head. We tried many caps and visors but they were all too big, noticeable in peripheral vision and quickly thrown away. This visor fitted perfectly and didn't keep coming off. About 3 1/2 hours. It was a balmy 96 degree heat and although we used sunscreen I was still impressed that there was no sign of sunlight on her face that day. Since the visor is easily adjustable, I'm glad it will last her at least another year or more. I am happy with this purchase and the visor will definitely get a lot of use.
