Smells like mint or benguet. any medicine. Not bad, but I can understand why some wouldn't like it. Although it copes with its task 100%! If you spray copiously immediately after smoking (marijuana), the smell will disappear almost immediately. I'm not sure how it will work with cigarettes because I know it lingers and is much easier to absorb. I left the windows out overnight and doused the car with this spray. My seats are made of fabric, but I didn't feel anything the next day. The smoke smell and aerosol smell were gone, it was just neutral. My boss drives my car sometimes, so it was a risk for me. But it's legal! A bit pricey but for the quality and size of the bottle I'd say it's worth it! I don't know why other people say it doesn't work, maybe they don't shake it before spraying or don't spray enough. But it definitely works. Would recommend to all smokers who have odor issues!
