The instructions contain a warning about overcharging, but do not mention that this battery pack has a built-in battery management system (BMS). My device limits charging to just under 14.4 volts (3.6 per cell). I noticed that it was a self-limiting charge and went to the manufacturer's website and confirmed the BMS. Nice little battery.
