I've been a mechanic for 13 years and this tool does a fantastic job at a do it yourself price. This module has active tests so you can disable injectors, reset adaptive learning for most if not all modules, and more. I advise non-professionals to exercise caution when using the reset and calibration functions on modules or systems with which they are unfamiliar. I almost bought the MK808 but I'm glad I went with the DS808 because the active testing ability is worth every penny for those who work with vehicles often. Hour. The quick read function is great and pulls out every code on the body, chassis and transmission. This gives you a simple picture of current problems with the entire vehicle. And clicking on a code takes you to the appropriate modules to diagnose it. Of course, this tool doesn't compete with dealer tools or other $2,000 tools for commercial shops. But other than that, this tool will do everything you need in your personal garage. I would very much like to buy this machine again,
