I've been swimming since high school and this is my favorite hat FOREVER! The smooth silicone material is perfect for slipping on and off. It's designed for the long/thick hair I have. My hair reaches mid-back and is thick and curly. A swim cap won't keep my hair dry, but what cap will? If you're new to swimming, swim caps don't keep your hair dry, they keep your hair out of the way and don't get in the way of your swim. I recommend taking care of your cap. Rinse it out after it's been in chlorine. You can use some baby powder to keep it dry between uses. I swim regularly and teach little people to swim - I love this hat so much I recommend it to all my students! Thank you TER!
