Scammed because KAI makes good products but this is not one of them.
If you spend that kind of money, buy Feder or Wilkinson sword blades (the ones from Germany, not India). It offers a close shave and unless you told me it was a Japanese Kai I believe it was one of the cheap Russian blades.
