Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Aluminum Red Water Temperature Meter with 32mm Radiator Sensor Adaptor Clamps by Dewhel by David Fields

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Wrong measurement. But hey it's cheap

ordered 32mm because the inside of my coolant line is 31mm so that would be the perfect stretch. NO. The outer part of the key edge is 32 mm. Actual tube size is 30mm, it didn't work properly so I sent it back and ordered 34mm. The tubing was sized correctly but the lip was then huge making it difficult to fit the silicone tubing onto it. It used to be that the distance between the center block and the locking lip wasn't very wide, so a safe and good quality hose clamp was a bit of a risk considering they shipped where the junk ended up. I threw them away without trying, you can tell by the quality. On the other hand, it's not the manufacturer's fault, but finding a quality fan switch with 1/8" NPT threads is next to impossible. I ended up getting better hose clamps, drilling the sensor/switch hole and die Threaded it to 3/8"". NPT and voila, it works. If you have the know-how, time and willpower, you can buy a lower quality part, modify it and cost about $30 If you want a part that will help you get up and moving quickly, but something different.. Oh, if you don't already have a drill and tap the size you want, you're still paying an extra $20 for it.
