I use this for my kayak. The rope ties easily and I feel like I spend more time untangling the rope than I do fishing. I still use it on a windy day. The other part is the design where all the pedal like points tend to get stuck between the rocks and make it hard to retrieve. I had to row and pull around the anchor, sometimes taking up to an hour to get rid of it. I'm considering buying a mushroom anchor for the lakes and rivers I kayak on. That doesn't work for me anymore. I bought two.
