Review on 🔌 IZTOR Power Adaptor Socket with LED Digital Voltmeter - Cigarette Lighter Combination, 12-24V by Chris Morales

I used this to hook up my 12v fridge/freezer in my VW Westfalia van. One 12V outlet is for my house battery and the other is for my starter battery. I can use the starter battery socket while driving, as it is charged by the alternator, and connect the plug to the house battery at the campsite, which is charged by the solar panel. I was able to install it right next to the fridge, and since it's right next to the sliding door, it's also handy when I put the fridge outside under the shed. My original plan was to use a DPDT switch to select which battery to use, but I found that there just wasn't enough room in the box for the extra 6-wire configuration that the switch would need. There's not much room in the box, so keep that in mind when planning your wiring. Either way, the switch probably took too long to decide. It is enough just to move the connector from one port to another. I'll put this switch to good use in another project, but the idea was cool. Also, there is no hole to insert wires into the box. I simply drilled a hole where I needed it and used a rubber grommet to keep the wires from chafing. I also have a 3 hole version of this box and had to drill a hole for that as well. This is probably a good thing as the location of the hole will vary based on the needs of the installation. I suppose you don't need to drill a hole if you're installing it over wires already coming out of the wall or whatever, if that makes sense.
