I love my titanium road bike but I'm getting too old to ride snuggled up for 2 or 3 hours so I wanted to try raising the handlebars a few inches. This stem was even better than I expected. I set the stem angle to about 45 degrees and the result is a riding position that's about the same as my touring bike. Installation was a breeze, although I had to use new brake cables to accommodate the high handlebar height. I remember some people complaining about tightening the hex bolts on the angle adjuster, but I suspect they forgot the stop screw under the stem. Once it loosens you can adjust the angle and then tighten everything back up to to fix the angle.
