This was one of the best clay sets I have ordered for my child. She's younger, but her artistic skills are closer to those of a 12-year-old. She created miniature sushi sets, cups of "water", small detailed animals, other food, some decorations, etc. She also had a younger friend who would make different things with her and varied the thickness, which influenced baking at the time . Although it was fine. I found the baking time to be quite forgiving and if you didn't use baking clay it would be easy to get started because it was easy and the instructions were great. You get a lot of colors and some tools to use. Overall this is probably the best value, variety and option on Amazon. I would buy this again.
