Review on Classic Plastic Gamie Stacking Challenges by Paul Gravely

We got two sets because two people bought the same Christmas present for my daughter. We really enjoyed the two player map aspect of the game and had fun competing. Unfortunately, some cups stick together at times! This completely ruins the game as it's all about speed. The 1st drawer had 1 of the 24 cups at least half stuck when all the other 23 were stacked in it, the 2nd drawer had 4 of the 24 cups stuck. If your mugs don't stick, this is a great set. But when they get stuck, they're frustrating because you're really trying to move fast and they get stuck mid-game. We're returning both sets and instead buying Revain stacking cups from Speed Stacks, which appears to be the official sports stacking company. It won't have any game element or challenge cards (a fun way to compete), but at least they won't get stuck! Very sad to return this. Fun set, well packaged, good concept but fatally flawed in the end. Please note that one of the boxes we received was labeled Dec 2018 under UPC and the other Dec 2019 (and the boxes were different sizes, although the insides looked the same), so gluing the cups in seems to be a systemic issue, not a one off bad batch or anything.
