You won't find anything better at this price. Don't let the size and price fool you, this is a powerful Wi-Fi router with top-notch features. If you don't need 5GHz and gigabit ethernet, this will perform as well or even better than any Cisco/Linksys, low-end Netgear, or similar Belkin offerings. RouterOS is unmatched by competitors in this price range. Many of these companies do not provide timely updates or stop releasing firmware updates altogether. Such cheap devices from MikroTik offer endless possibilities. Of course, they may not have the clean and polished new user configuration they are used to. The quick setup pages will certainly suffice for any beginner, but for everything else I don't want to try to educate anyone who isn't already familiar with networking and IT. In short, MikroTik has been the most exciting experience for me, inspiring and rekindling my passion for networking. I have two more on the way, now I've seen how well they work.
