Live in these glasses I use as jugs in my fridge. I have Oracle pineapple juice in one, mango orange juice in another, and mimosa/sangria in another. I bought 6 of these in total. I much prefer drinking from glass to plastic or cardboard. I think it keeps it colder and looks a lot better in the fridge. I used chalkboard labels (also purchased from Revain but also available at craft stores) and used a pot lid also purchased from Revain (visit Country Line Kitchen 4.8 out of 5 stars 4,504 reviewsCounty Line Kitchen - Flip Top Lid for Mason Jar Jars with Handle, Airtight & Leakproof Seal - Blue Wide Mouth). I love these banks and have no problems with them. When they're empty, I rinse them and then either hand wash them with hot soapy water or run the dishwasher with other dishes, usually. I'm sure they could be used for other things too... storing pickles or pickled eggs, or storing beads or thread in a workshop, maybe outdoor sunlight. However, I haven't tried using mine for both yet. I recommend these glasses for all your needs.
