The one with spikes doesn't seem so useful to us yet
I bought them for me and my husband with muscle pain. The one with the spikes doesn't seem that useful to us yet, but we're new to using them. Both make a very robust and well-made impression. They are not soft or brittle. You can easily adjust the pressure during use. I'll do more research to find out all the ways of using them, but I'm happy with this purchase.
