Cost may be an issue for some; but VERY high quality here!

When it comes to products like this, I think it's important to treat yourself, especially if it adds a little joy or luxury to your morning routine. You think about the start of the day, and the routine you do each morning plays a big part in your mood for the day. I really liked the licorice flavored Marvis toothpaste and at first the idea of paying 2-3 times more for toothpaste made me hesitate to include it in my morning routine, but I was really looking forward to cleaning my teeth for the first half of the day cleaning day. in the morning so it was worth every penny. $35 mouthwash only 16 oz. At first I thought there was no way I was going to pay that much for mouthwash! Before . I have read and researched the ingredients. A serving is a "full cap" (which is weird because there's no real limit here) twice a day. Let's say it's about $2/3 a day just for mouthwash. one might seriously doubt the value as it was quite a luxurious event for a very highly paid person. But if it helps you enjoy your morning routine and start and end the day well. Who said it was more expensive than a glass of booze or a glass of wine before bed? I did a lot of research on its ingredients and found some very interesting things. - Aloe Vera is listed as one of the first ingredients. on the label. I researched AV mouthwash in pubmed, where it was mentioned that it is seen as a means of supporting poor dental hygiene in developing and underdeveloped countries. Aloe is relatively cheap, easy to grow and harvest, and data shows that it is as effective in reducing periodontitis within 15 to 30 days of use as the chlorhexidine mouthwashes (Listerine Extra Strength) used to treat bleeding gums and gingivitis . So this ingredient is being tested. It also significantly reduced plaque formation in the study. Green tea. More and more companies are adding green tea to their mouthwashes because it significantly reduces VSC (Volatile Sulfur Compounds) levels, one of the main causes of bad breath. - Licorice root. Contains a compound called glycyrrhizin that helps reduce tooth decay. Chinese medicine also says it can soothe and numb inflamed gums or inflamed mouth tissue. grapefruit seeds. It is becoming a popular ingredient in many oral care products as it kills and disinfects bacteria, fungi, parasites. This extract is popular in Ayurvedic medicine to soothe and protect teeth and gums. This herbal product is a well-known tea and is known to have a soothing effect on the mucous membranes, including the lining of the mouth. It can help soothe and reduce ulcers and prevent tooth infections. The only ingredient I didn't understand was yerba mate. It is a herbal form of caffeine used as an alternative to coffee and commonly harvested in South America. I couldn't find any research on its effect on oral health. and in fact, some studies claim that it can actually cause oral cancer with long-term use. Maybe the absorption through the gums could trigger some kind of energy? I am confused about the addition of this ingredient. There's also a witch's brew made from essential oils like peppermint, cinnamon bark, lavender, tea tree, and vanilla beans. I think it's for taste and smell. Taste-wise, price aside, it seems to be a stumbling block for some. While most mouthwashes are loaded with synthetic mint flavors, this is more of an herbal dose of not-so-tasting alcohol that you spit out. You won't be tempted to swallow this stuff, even though the ingredients mention licorice, grapefruit, mint, and vanilla beans. It's no worse than any other mouthwash to my liking, although it doesn't have the minty flavor that some might have been expecting. The packaging is beautiful. A brown Apocataria style bottle with a smooth wooden cap. It looks amazing on the sink, especially paired with tubes of this brand of toothpaste. It has a wonderful "hipster" vibe and I wouldn't hide it in a first aid kit. Although, I will say, for the price. There were air bubbles on the label. All in all this is a great product. I'm not sure I would treat myself to $35 mouthwash on a regular basis. It's a bit too much ruin for me. If it was twenty dollars. I only focus on the quality of the ingredients and how well each ingredient serves a purpose. You really can't go wrong with this and while it will be a bountiful treat, it's all of great quality!
