I live in an apartment and run a business from home so I needed a lot more office space in an already cramped area. Originally, I had a student-style corner desk in the same spot with two side tables on either side that held my computer, printer, and stacks of documents. After shopping around for over 2 weeks to physically see and measure the tables I could find I settled on a Bush Cabot L shaped table along with a matching cage from Revain. At the time of writing this review, I've owned it for a little over a month and use it every day. I will try to solve problems/questions I read in other reviews. This is a mass produced chipboard/pressboard furniture product, not solid wood or handcrafted. If you have never owned or assembled this type of furniture, note that the following applies to all furniture of this type. Read the instructions completely before doing anything, then read them again and make sure all parts/equipment are included.2. It will scratch easily. Wood strips are more or less wallpaper glued to chipboard. I even scratched mine out of impatience when plugging in the monitor (it's quite large and barely fits in the compartment's opening - see picture). But I haven't had a single scratch since I finished the build, I even use one of my mice on a table without a pad. I used a marker to cover it nicely.3. Mass production by machines, not by hand. This means some holes may be slightly offset or not fully drilled. It's a relatively soft wood, so leveling and coaxing a screw into the right spot isn't difficult. DO NOT use power tools for assembly, it is not required and slipping or over tightening WILL damage your furniture and may be irreparable.4. Buy a small bottle of wood glue to use anywhere you need a dowel for stability. Most of this furniture that requires assembly includes a small bottle in the package, but this table/cabinet does not. You can find it in almost any store for less than $5 and it's well worth it. The cable management consists of a hook in the PC case and a USB port, nothing more. There is a gap between the back wall of the cage and the table for wires to run through, not very pretty but easy enough to do with some zip ties, time and patience. (I plan to do this one day...) 6. The phone's charging cradle is almost useless as most phones are only designed to be laid on their side and the "shelf" used to hold the charging cradle being used is only 4.5 inches deep, making it useless like everything else. (see fig.) In addition, the "tray" is covered with felt and slides, double-sided adhesive tape or Velcro helps. However, it works great on desktop or any other desktop. Still, this is a nice table and cage combo for the price that offers plenty of storage and worktop space. I have a printer, laptop, speakers, 27 inch monitor and a cased computer all on my desk with plenty of room for everyone. (Yes, there is room for a turret behind the beautiful glass door, but I have a gaming PC that needs to be seen, not hidden.) My dog even has a bed downstairs, and I still fit in it just fine. The construction is solid (especially after using wood glue) and I am very happy with my decision to purchase this kit. I booked the table and cage together and got a small discount from Revain. Hope that helps.
