The amp came with a bent potentiometer. I don't know if this is the cause of the bent volume knob issue, but the left channel on this amp is weaker than the right channel. after a few minutes of playing music, the green emitter fell off. Its very bad design. it is not soldered to the board by itself. It is glued to the chip with very cheap hot glue. This listing describes the tpa 3116, but when the heatsink fell off I didn't see the tpa 3116 marking on the chip, it should be inscribed on the chip itself. I don't know if it's a fake chip or if I just got a bad block. Stay away in my opinion. You don't want your project to fall apart after putting so much effort into it.
