I was riding through the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina recently when the temperature dropped below 30 degrees. I bought them specifically for this trip just based on reviews. They are taking a risk and I have to admit I was NOT disappointed. I bought two different types to provide cooler and COLD temperatures. They are very comfortable and the reinforced knees were a life saver. On a bike, the wind blows over the hoods down to the rider's knees. I was cold but not cold, bikers will understand. Keep in mind that at 28 degrees and 45-50 mph we had temperatures in the single digits while driving. They were a bit long, but the extra length added to the comfort of the ride. I didn't feel any stretching, which is often uncomfortable. Fits very well at the waist and the fly fits easily under jeans, which is VERY important when dressing for cold riding or hunting. Recommend underwear brand David Archy to anyone who is outdoors in cooler/colder times.
