Review on Rockport World Classic Tumbled Leather Men's Shoes for Athletes by James Lozoya

Cheap Chinese imitations?

I hate leaving bad reviews about something, but in this case I just have to. I've been buying Rockports for years and what draws me to them is how comfortable they are, almost like tennis shoes. But these things are so uncomfortable. There are almost no pads. When you walk on hard surfaces they make a sound like hard plastic on the ground, not as smooth and quiet as I'm used to. Also, the floors are slippery when walking on wet surfaces. I hate to say this but I think these things are cheap Chinese fakes since these things are flooding the market these days. What led me to this conclusion was the drastic change in comfort and quality. The Rockport name you see inside the shoe was almost completely worn off within two days of wearing it. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that they were just stickers. I could peel off the letters with my fingernail. In general, people who bought these shoes here seem happy, but I think I got bad ones. I think I ordered my last pair of shoes online. From now on I go to a stone shop where I can feel them, try them on and go through them before I buy them.

Pros

Cons
  • I don't remember
