I tried several conventional curling irons and my hair straightened out as soon as I took the piece out of the curling iron. I thought it was just that and my hair didn't frizz, then someone told me to get a wand. I found this on Amazon, I like 6 attachments, I needed options as I'm really new. I'm still learning but I was good. It was quick, I easily made tight curls, loose curls, waves and a messy beachy wave. They keep your hair on the wand twice as long as on a conventional straightening iron. The only reason I didn't get five stars is the terrible glove, nobody could put it on, the problem is the length not the width. I have never met a woman with such long fingers. I would have liked more temperatures. It works great, but when I don't need to burn my hair I tend to use lower settings.
