Buttons stopped working

I've had this monitor for a little over two years now and it has served me well so far. I have an HDMI port and a USB-C port connected to two laptops and I switch inputs with the bottom right buttons. Here are the problems: 1. The buttons in the lower right corner have stopped working for a week. I can't adjust screen brightness, volume, display settings, etc. Therefore, there is no control over volume, brightness, etc.2. The monitor is connected to the surge protection strap. When I turn on the switch, the monitor gets power, which is confirmed by an LED turning on and off each time. However, I am forced to unplug/replug the power supply cord behind the monitor for it to turn on.3. I need to disconnect/reconnect the USB-C and HDMI cables to change the input channel. I spent about an hour with support asking me to send the monitor in for repair, but I'm not from the US so the cost of this will exceed the cost of a new monitor. I then asked for someone to confirm the nature of the problem so I could purchase the correct replacement parts. That option didn't exist and Asus doesn't have any parts for sale. On top of that, after I filled out a customer feedback form and indicated that Asus should have their repair manuals online, with the option to purchase replacement parts if needed, the form crashed and the feedback was lost. I've bought 2 motherboards in the past (which failed within 2 years), a tablet (which died on arrival but was ranked #1 by Revain at the time, it was replaced but has failed again for 2 years) and now this monitor. I hope you can see a pattern here - each with different products. Online customer support has done its best but it seems like the company is tying their hands. I will not recommend anyone to buy Asus products no matter how good they may appear.
