I bought the larger shorts
I bought the shorts larger because this thin synthetic material shrinks over time in the dryer. The bags are different and I had to get used to it. But all pockets remain closed and there are no bulging large valves. The shorts came with a thin belt which I didn't use. Overall I really like these shorts. Very convenient.
