I have a 2½ pound 8 year old Chihuahua who ALWAYS wants to ride on my lap in the car. Which isn't practical for any of us on long trips. I used to buy her a bucket seat and she hated it. She couldn't see outside and he was airborne so she was nervous. She loves it, thank goodness! I put it in the dryer on low speed to fluff it up a bit. Since it comes in a sealed bag, it kinda breaks down until all the air is back in. It is very easy to install with 2 clips at the back of the seat and around the headrest. And it's good that you can take it apart to wash it. The 2 side pockets make it easy to store your treat/feed bag, travel potions and leash. I was nervous about the price but it was worth it. In photos (including mine) she looks flat and wrinkled, but it's by no means pretty and fluffy like she likes it!
