After much research I ordered this on September. What convinced me was the comparissons made on the DiscountJuicers.com Youtube channel where Tribest was just as good as the Omega horizontal juicers in juicing greens. And with the reviews saying that it did a good job juicing wheatgrass, but could also do your apples and carrots (even though you had to do a bit more cutting) I thought this was my best option.I ordered this to a friend's PO box, and it was until now he came home for christmas I got my juicer. So you can imagine my exitment on finally getting it. I oppened it this Christmas' eve morning and this is what I juiced: 2 cellery sticks (cut in 2 lengthwise and in 12 inch pcs), 4 kale leaves (broke the stems into about 4 pieces), 3 bunches of wheatgrass, 2 carrots (cut in 4 lengthwise and in 12 inch pcs), 1 orange (peeled and cut in 4), 1 lemon (peeled and cut in 2). I started feeding the cellery alternating with kale and wheatgrass (I had seen on the videos that alternating juicy things like cellery or cucumber with the dryer greens had better results), then fed the carrots alternating with orange and right when I had finished the carrots and had the last 1/4 of orange and the lemon left, the juicer stopped. The juicer was swallowing things pretty fast and the juice yield was great. But I wasn't really concentrating on the pulp outlet (and then again I didn't have that much time, it wasn't like I'd processed tons of produce). I realized nothing had fallen and it was pretty much stuck, a fibrous green clog was barely coming out of the auger housing, making it past a silicon barrier. After turning it off I tried to remove the lid but coulnd't. I tried pushing on the reverse button but it only moved a milimiter maybe and stoped. After trying this a couple more times I was finally able to open it and dissamble and of course found carrot all around and under the auger. It had stuffed everything I fed wherever it could. After manually removing everything around and under the auger and unclogging the pulp outlet I reassembled and turned on again (I planned to feed the mountain of diced carrot and orange back into the juicer because I figured going through the whole trajectory and out would make it dryer) to finish my juice but it started making a bumping noice. So before feeding anything I turned it off and dissambled again and found that the auger blade had been deformed and the deformation was bumping and wearing the auger house lid (PLASTIC PARTS WEARING EACH OTHER IN CONTACT WITH YOUR FOOD! NO THANKS!).The extent of the deformation is such that it took me a while to figure out it had happened sometime during my juicing. At first I thought this was the original shape of the auger and pulp in the wrong place was causing it to bump up into the lid. But no and I still can't figure out when it happened beause I never heard a "I'm destroying my self" kind of soud or even an unsusual sound before the juicer stopped on its own. I still can't believe the clogging could have caused it. And as much as I struggled to open the lid, I don't think my super human strength could have made a hem out of the edge of the auger's blade.I have pictures of the deformation but don't see how to include them here. And because I didn't receive my juicer right after delivery and I didn't register for waranty within the next 10 days, I guess I can't receive its benfits! But still for interational customers 10 days sets you for failure. What about online registration Tribest?I can't believe I drank an almost 400 dollar glass of juice! The silicon barrier on the pulp outlet is held to the bottom of the auger housing with a screw so I even have my doubts if this barrier should be removed by the user (not indicated on the manual). But why is it there stopping the pulp flow (my guess is to do a final juice squice) if the mecanism doesn't have the power to push through it? I feel completely frustrated disappointed and ripped off. I'm way past Walmart's return window. My bad trusting a company so much that I'd risk not being able to get my hands on the appliance for 90 days.--- Update: You CAN trust this company! They do stand behing their products and will register your waranty if something kept you from doing it before 10 days! They sent me replacement parts and now it is not jamming! I think its a bit of a hazzle to clean. And that too much fiber gets stuck under the auger. On the good side I don't think it takes too long to prepare the produce. And its pretty fast and juice yield and taste is great. I still haven't tried hard vegetables like carrots and beets but I hope it will resist. Will update when I do.
