Great product. I've had a T1 Steamboy since 2008 and thought it was great. Well that's a huge improvement. It produces more steam, the mop head is easier to put on, the cord is longer, it has an on/off switch and it stands up on its own. I love the ease of putting on a clean mop pad as I hated trying to tighten the T1 tight enough. The cable is great because you don't have to constantly unplug and reposition it. Since you can also turn off the machine, you can start in one area and work your way to the spot where you can mop with the cord, turn off the power, and wait until the floor is dry before unplugging the cord. Previously, you had to plan your exit from the room so that you didn't have to walk on the wet floor to turn off the machine, since it stayed on until it was turned off. WOW, I can even wash more often because everything that bothers me is no longer a problem. I forgot to mention that the old machine wouldn't stand up on its own and if you leaned it against the counter the steam controls could activate when leaned against the counter. For an extra 30€ I would "upgrade" without hesitation.
