Review on 📊 Enhanced Fieldpiece SM480V SMAN Digital Manifold with Wireless Data Logging by Kartik Starks

I was hesitant to buy because of the price but really sold after first use. I'm in the light commercial HVAC industry and used to lug around some pipe clamps, thermometers, etc. This tool replaced them all in no time. I also have a JL3RH that syncs to it and I can turn it off in wic/wif to get a live box temp while on the condenser. Several colleagues laughed at me when I told them I ordered this. I laughed at them after they tested it at work and they were all drooling. The vacuum gauge on board seems accurate as it matches my bluvac per micron. Leak testing is awesome and probably my favorite aspect of pressure gauges. It records the pressure at the moment the feature is turned on, then runs the time and displays 'PDIF' throughout the test, giving a very clear indication of whether there are any leaks. The included packaging is fine, but it's not a hard case. any values. It is convenient to store clamps and temperature probes. I found it inconvenient to fit the case over the sensors with the clips attached, so I started storing them separately. Last week I climbed onto the roof during a heavy rain shower and the collector got wet, but I managed to slip it into my bag quickly. and back to my trailer. The bag stayed damp for a while (once in my van I removed the distributor) and the distributor was clearly wet so I wiped it off and turned it on and it worked and has worked fine ever since. I wouldn't recommend getting it wet all the time, but that was an issue when I bought it given the environment in which HVAC work is being done. When I switched it on for the first time, I noticed a small defect on the display and thought about returning it. It looked like a dead pixel or something, but I didn't notice it the next day. I've seen him since then, but only from strange angles; it's not visible when I look directly at the manifold, so shrug - I'd rather not dispose of the sensor by sending it back and the like unless I routinely notice a defect. Attached is a photo of the distributor used, I think I still have one with the JL3RH and a second pipe clamp but I can't find it at the ATM, will upload it if I find it later. The ammeter in the picture is an a3001 fc with iflex and is another item that I fully support and can talk about how great it is.
